Mato is the alpha male of a pack of wolves living in the northwestern mountains of North America. The pack nearly suffered extinction when the native people hunted them down, but Mato fought for his pack as a trainee and was honored by becoming the beta wolf. He is considered a legendary, vicious wolf to the natives as he killed many of their ancestors while protecting his pack. The natives live in a village that sits in the foothills of the mountains that are home to Mato's pack.

She is very perceptive and loving. She expresses her love through her duties to the pack. She enjoys teaching trainees and even the pups if they're old enough. She is also fiercely protective of her packmates against other animals and especially natives.

When Chenoa was very young, barely more than a month old, she wandered into the woodsy foothills. A native child was playing in the river near the clearing that Chenoa was in and she ventured toward the splashing sounds. The native child nearly captured her when Mato, only 2 weeks older, than her came charging at the child with teeth bared and eyes blazing. Since then, Chenoa has been very aggressive toward any native device or thought, and is fiercely protective of her pack against anything non-wolf. She may present like a slow thinker, but really, she is making her plans. She will think everything through before commenting or acting on knowledge or thoughts.

Quilon is a hard worker and a through thinker. She acts on instinct on occasion when she feels like she has no time to think; as well as she very loyal and protective of her pack. If something endangers someone in her pack, she will face it head-on, as she is also very headstrong.

When she was a pup, she wandered of to go and try to hunt on her own. Little did shw know, her brother followed her as well. When she saw a small rabbit, her brother tried to help and he got kicked by the rabbit, rendering him unconscious. She brought him back, and she was happy that he would live because she thought she killed him. That is why she is protective of everybody, as a skunk and deer did the same later on.
